For the 2022 Christmas celebrations, we support a young cross-country skier. Elia Beti is a 19-year-old athlete who is putting all his energy into starting his professional career this year. Follow Elias’ path together with us. We are happy to be a part of his journey and wish Elia the very best for his career as a top athlete.
Elia grew up in Pontresina, together with his parents and brother, who are his biggest supporters. He took his first steps on the cross-country skis at the age of only 4 years. Since then, he practices this sport with joy and passion. “Growing up in the Engadin, with the best winter conditions, it is only natural to pursue a winter sport in this beautiful landscape,” says Elia about his passion for the sport. After completing his apprenticeship this year, Elia plans to devote himself fully to top-level sports. In addition to his part-time job, he will work specifically on his strengths (sprinting and speed) and on his weaknesses (mental and basic endurance). His goal is to improve nationally so that he will be included in the Swiss Ski squad. If everything goes well, world-class races will be another goal in his still-young career.
