There are innumerable options to enjoy a varied training in this unique winter scenery. My favorite routes are:
From Sils to Surlej, along lake Silvaplana. From Surlej across the \u2018Pal\u00fc Lungia\u2019 track, the more challenging, but also more beautiful option, to St. Moritz Bad and from here continue in direction Pontresina through the Stazerwald and its rapid decent through the woods. For an additional loop, turn left here onto one of the most beautiful parts of the trails. \u2013 enjoy!<\/p>

For many cross country skiers the Engadin Ski Marathon is the season highlight. For over 50 years the event has been taking place every year within the first half of March and brings participants and spectators from all over the world into the Engadin valley. The event-week begins with the women\u2019s\u2019 race one week before the big event. The rather new Night Race on Thursday offers its participants a unique experience on 17km between Sils and Pontresina. During the Engadin Ski Marathon itself around 13\u2019000 cross country skiers tackle the 42km route form Maloja to S-Chanf or the half marathon, which ends in Pontresina.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
