Over the past two decades the Engadine has become a mecca for travelers who don't want to forego enjoying the haute cuisine during their ski holidays. <\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There\u2019s plenty to choose from: gourmet restaurants awarded with Michelin stars, restaurants which reached high Gault Millau points; world-famous gourmet meccas like Matsuhisa or Beef Bar and many unique places loved by locals and visitors of the Engadine Valley alike. One holiday is not enough to dine at each and every one of them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

But the reality is that often, after a long day on the alpine or cross-country skiing slopes and all that fresh air, you just don\u2019t feel like going out. The only wish is to warm up the tired muscles in the sauna, curl up in a fluffy bathrobe and enjoy a tasty dinner in front of the big screen. Or maybe hosting a candlelight dinner for friends in the cosy atmosphere of your chalet. Or why not organizing something out of the ordinary, like a winter picnic or a hot fondue on a secluded mountainside, where you can arrive in style by helicopter. This is where your personal chef and butler, who are part of your chalet service team, come in handy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

PPM\u2019s chefs create menus according to the culinary preferences of the guests, taking allergies and preferred cooking methods or favorite dishes into account. Many of our chefs have extensive experience not only in private homes, but also in top restaurants around the world or even have been part of national teams at the Bocuse d\u2019Or culinary competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Today we would like to tell you about one of those unique chefs who is part of our PPM team. His name is Lindor Wink. Lindor was born and raised in Sweden and spent every winter in the ski resort of \u00c5re, where he fell in love with skiing so much that he became a professional athlete. His love for cooking was instilled in him by his mother, who owns a cafe-restaurant herself, and when it was time to choose a life path, Lindor decided to become a chef. Taking this profession very seriously, Lindor very soon became a member of the Swedish national culinary team. After many years of working in culinary field, including in the ski resorts, Lindor decided that he wanted to share his knowledge and ideas in form of a book full of amazing photos, recipes and stories. The book \u201cSnowfood. Cookbook for hungry skiers\u201d with 75 delicious recipes for outdoor enthusiasts has recently been published by Gawellf\u00f6rlag.<\/p>
