Aber wo hat alles angefangen? Werfen wir einen Blick zur\u00fcck auf die faszinierende Geschichte der Anf\u00e4nge des Wintertourismus in St. Moritz.<\/h6>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e7ee85 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5e7ee85\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Historisch gesehen begann alles, als der Hotelier Johannes Badrutt im Jahr 1864 eine legend\u00e4re Wette abschloss, die die Geburtsstunde des Wintertourismus markiert. Er lud einige seiner englischen G\u00e4ste, die jedes Jahr den Sommer in St. Moritz verbrachten, ein, im Dezember wiederzukommen. Er versprach den Engl\u00e4ndern, dass er ihnen die vollen Kosten ihres Winterurlaubs erstatten w\u00fcrde, falls ihnen der Aufenthalt nicht gefallen sollte. Die M\u00e4nner nahmen sein Angebot an und blieben schlie\u00dflich bis Ostern in St. Moritz, weil es ihnen so gut gefiel. Als sie nach England zur\u00fcckkehrten, erz\u00e4hlten sie es weiter, und ein neuer Reisetrend war geboren.<\/p><p><br \/>Zuvor war der Sommer aufgrund seiner gesundheitlichen Vorteile die bevorzugte Jahreszeit f\u00fcr Reisen in die Alpen in St. Moritz. Zu dieser Zeit war das Tal f\u00fcr seine Heilquellen und seine Spa-Kultur ber\u00fchmt. Seit der Bronzezeit zogen diese mineralreichen Gew\u00e4sser Besucher an, und im 19. Jahrhundert waren Spa-Behandlungen zu einem beliebten Zeitvertreib unter der wohlhabenden Elite Europas geworden.<br \/><br \/>Nach dem Erfolg von Badrutts Wagnis entwickelte sich St. Moritz schnell zu einem Winterziel. Einige der ersten Skilifte in den Alpen wurden hier gebaut, Aktivit\u00e4ten wie Rodeln, Curling und Bobfahren wurden zu beliebten Freizeitbesch\u00e4ftigungen und verwandelten den Ferienort in einen Treffpunkt f\u00fcr alpine Abenteuer. <br \/><br \/>Einer der wichtigsten Meilensteine war der Bau des Cresta Run, der Natureisbahn f\u00fcr Skeleton-Rennen. Der 1884 erbaute Cresta Run zog die abenteuerlustige Elite aus ganz Europa an. Bis heute ist der Cresta Run eine der ber\u00fchmtesten, anspruchsvollsten und exklusivsten Eisbahnen der Welt.<br \/><br \/>St. Moritz erlangte bald internationale Anerkennung. Die Stadt hatte die gro\u00dfe Ehre, die Olympischen Winterspiele zweimal auszurichten, 1928 und 1948. Diese Ereignisse festigten St. Moritz als Winterziel und wurden zu einem beliebten Ort f\u00fcr den Winterurlaub f\u00fcr Ber\u00fchmtheiten wie Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Coco Chanel, Alfred
